What to look at first
The first thing that decides whether you'll stick around long-term: leveling pace, wipe history, and pay-to-win presence. The rest, including client and events, can be checked later.
Check the in-game online, server age, wipe history, active community, admin responses, own client without manual patches, and clear rules. If all that exists, the server can be trusted.
On Zenaria there are two worlds on one account: Zenaria x40 classic and Atlanta x100 fast. One account, up to 5 heroes in each world.
The Zenaria community lives in Telegram, Discord, and VK, with a bot @muzenaria_bot. See the list of conveniences and differences from regular servers on the improvements page.
Also check if there is offline leveling and a player-to-player market: that makes life much easier if you can't sit in the game all day.
Rates: what they give and how to choose
The EXP rate shows how many times faster the hero levels compared to the original. Low rates make items more valuable, high rates shift focus to resets and events.
| Rate | Game pace | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| x1-x10 | Long leveling, rare items | Hardcore fans of the original |
| x20-x50 | Balance between speed and value | Most players |
| x100 and above | Fast start, focus on resets | Those who like fast cycles |
On Zenaria x40, EXP is x40, master EXP is x20. Master EXP is given by monsters from level 95, max 400 levels and 200 master levels. Every day from 20:00 to 21:00 Moscow time (MSK), EXP is doubled.
On x40, the first reset is available from level 350, and with each reset, EXP from monsters decreases by 5%, but not lower than 50% from the 10th reset. Seals, pets, and mentor bonus are added on top.
In a Gold Party, EXP is shared by all, but a bonus is given for class diversity, and a mentor helps a newbie with Zen. More details in the guide.
Low rates suit those who like a long journey and the value of each level. High rates let you quickly try different classes and build around resets. Zenaria offers both options.
Wipes: what they are and how to check history
A wipe resets heroes, items, and guilds. Frequent wipes devalue progress, so it's important to see how the server acted before.
You can check the history in the rules and announcements: if the server promises “wipe only at opening”, that's a good sign. On Zenaria x40, the world opened from scratch on 16.10.2026 at 19:00 MSK, and there will be no more wipes on it. Atlanta x100 is in open beta until 20.11.2026, with official opening and one wipe on 20.11.2026 at 20:00 MSK.
Seasons on x40 last a month, at the end only the season ranking is reset. Heroes, items, and guilds remain, the top 3 of the season get in-game prizes.
If the server does not openly write wipe history, ask the community. Official announcements and FAQ are usually more honest than rumors.
Donations and paid services: where the line is
Pay-to-win is when hero power can be bought for money. Conveniences like premium or cosmetics do not give a decisive advantage if items are still obtainable in game.
On Zenaria, you can play for free: gear is dropped, bought from players on the market for GP, or given out during events. Paid services exist but are optional: premium and Goblin Point (GP) packages. GP is also given in game for playtime, daily login, and Hero's Path.
The server does not have a direct shop with weapons and armor: the server does not sell ready-made items, only GP and premium. Purchased GP can be spent on the market with other players.
Premium on Zenaria gives +7% EXP, +20% Zen, +5% to jewel and Chaos Machine chance, offline item pickup, reset for half Zen, and 100% offline leveling up to 24 hours. See prices on the premium page.
The market works like this: players sell dropped items and jewels for GP. An item is placed in the account vault and listed as a lot after logging out; you can buy it without logging out. There are purchase orders: an item will be bought automatically when listed at or below the specified price. On each sale, 5% GP is burned as a commission.
It's important to distinguish premium from selling ready-made items. On Zenaria, you cannot directly buy a sword or set for real money, but purchased GP can be used on the market to buy items from players.
Client: Windows and Mac
Having your own client without manual patches saves time. On Zenaria, the client downloads the world on first launch and then updates automatically, the server address is already set up.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, about 1.5 GB of space. If antivirus interferes, run the game again, add the folder to exceptions, or move it from C:\Program Files to C:\Games\Zenaria.
For Mac, there is a native client for Apple Silicon (M1-M4 and newer, macOS 12 and newer) without Wine. It does not work on Intel Macs. You can download clients on the download page, and for Mac separately on this page.
Offline leveling with the /offlevel command: the hero stays in the world and levels according to MU Helper settings. Without premium, 70% EXP and up to 8 hours per session; with premium, 100% and up to 24 hours. MU Helper takes Zen from the hero, and offline the helper is cheaper. More details in the guide.
Scheduled restarts at 15:00 MSK, Atlanta at 15:05, players are warned 15 minutes in advance.
Before installing, make sure your PC meets the requirements. For Windows, a 64-bit system is required; for Mac, only Apple Silicon.
Checklist: 12 points before registration
Go through this list before registering. If most points are not met, the server is unlikely to be comfortable.
- In-game online is alive, not inflated with bots.
- Server age and clear wipe history.
- No direct shop with weapons and armor for real money.
- Paid services do not give a decisive advantage.
- Own client with auto-update.
- Client for your OS: Windows 64-bit or Mac Apple Silicon.
- Offline leveling if you can't stay in game constantly.
- Active community in Telegram, Discord, or VK.
- Admin responds and publishes rules.

- Clear start: registration, download, first steps.
Zenaria covers these points, but note: there is no direct power shop, but purchased GP can be spent on the market with players.
